The Babies Give Thanks

We hope everyone is ready for Thanksgiving, making time for family and friends is so important. I wanted to give you an update of our happenings over the past few months, we've been apart for far too long.

This summer we were approached to produce a commercial for Governor Schweitzer & First Lady's Math and Science Initiative here in Montana. We were working with the wonderful advisors and kids of the MAPS Media Institute who were responsible for writing the commercial itself. Our friend Peter brought his bright young minds up for the day to help us shoot in front of the green screen with Mrs. Nancy Schweitzer and the First Dog, Jag. It was a great experiece and the commercial will air shortly!

Here is a tasty little behind the scenes courtesy of MAPS - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1UmBJysS52o

In narrative news, we found out earlier today that our Senior Thesis film pitch was approved! We will be moving into preproduction for the Spring shoot of "The Way To Go", a hilariously morbid comedy written by the Babe's great friend, Brian McCauley Johnson.

The Hosen Makes The Man

Happy March everyone!

The Big Joe Polka Show and Lady Gaga just had a baby...a little baby! Lace up your clogs and check out "Polka Face", a tasty little German "Poker Face" parody. You'll never look at schnitzel the same way again.

It's been a wonderfully busy start to the year for the babes. Shane has been filming some incredible skiing action for Toy Soldier Production's upcoming film, "Come Find Us". Nick has been channeling his inner thespian, performing in Eric Bogosian's "SubUrbia" on the Montana State campus. And Logan has found a new love, the Canon 7d, the camera of Polka Face!

This spring, the babes are delving into the world of documentary. We have begun production on a film examining the helpful effects of music on a soldier transitioning back into civilian life. Stay tuned for more!

2010: The Year Of The Baby

Happy New Year's everyone!

We hope you all had a great holiday and an even better last decade, because it was a good one. If not for all the technological innovations, you could be looking at this on AOL right now. Thankfully, that's not the case.

But if you are in fact thankful for a fresh films from the Little Babies, then you're in luck! Shane and I took off our serious pants for a moment and stepped into the studio for an in-depth look at our honed and sometimes graphic approach to acting. Check it out here!

In other news:
In the next couple weeks we will be in preproduction on several new shorts. Logan is in France right now playing with his brand new camera. And we are hot on the lookout for several pairs of lederhosen.

It's going to be a great year for all!

Aspen

So it's come down to this. The Final 8. And somehow, the Little Babies got a taste of that sweet action!

We just released our latest short, "Sunday Morning", our next entry in the National College Funny Film Competition! All about the only thing that sucks about college, the day after. It's now up to the public to decide the final 4 that will be heading to Aspen in June for the Rooftop Comedy Festival!

We would love your support and votes, but most of all, we'd love for you to have a laugh on us. All of which can be completed here!

It's been a busy month...

Happy Thanksgiving everybody! It's time for an update about what has been going on in our lives for the past month.

We wrapped our biggest project yet, our junior thesis film still tentatively titled "Chain Reaction." We shot November 13 - 17 around Bozeman. We can't possibly thank everyone who helped out enough. Cast, crew and the 40+ extras who gave up six hours of their time on Sunday to fill the auditorium! The film is currently in post production, and should be done mid-December.

We made it into the latest round of the Rooftop Comedy's National College Comedy Competition with our film "Heaven." On November 13, they announced that we'd have to make a new film to submit for another public vote with the topic being "Things That Suck About College." The only problem was that we started "Chain Reaction" that same day, and it took every bit of our focus. So, we put the competition in the back of our minds and completed our junior film. That left us with a week or so to write, shoot and edit the newest film. Account for two days of Cat-Griz mania in Bozeman and the Thanksgiving holiday, and we were down to two days for the film! But alas, our friends came through once again and helped us create a convincing party scene to tell our story... Look for the new film December 2nd. Once again, it is up to the public to decide the winners so we'll be asking for votes around that time!

The three of us will be back in Bozeman at the beginning of next week to figure out the next move for LB Films. We have some exciting stuff in mind so stay tuned. None of this would be possible with out the support of our friends, family and fans! Thank you so much!
